Pickleball FAQs — Syosset & Jericho, NY
Your Questions, Answered
How do I get into the facility?
Accessing The Pickle Club is simple — we are fully staffed during all open hours, so you never need to worry about entry codes, keys, or passwords. Just walk in and our team will get you checked in. Hours: Mon–Fri 7AM–11PM | Sat–Sun 8AM–8PM.
How long can I stay at the facility?
We are a destination for more than just pickleball! With grab-and-go food from Iavarone Brothers, a self-pour bar, a comfortable lounge with an oversized TV, and friendly staff, we encourage you to arrive before your session or stay after to hang out. We want you here even when you aren't playing!
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
Not at all. The Pickle Club offers a wide selection of demos and loaners featuring the latest technology, available for free use. We also stock professional paddles and balls available for purchase in our pro shop.
Can I bring guests?
Absolutely. Friends are always welcome at our club, whether they are jumping in to play or just hanging out to enjoy our facilities and lounge area.
Do you have drinks or food?
Yes! We keep you fueled with grab-and-go food from Iavarone Brothers, as well as a variety of beverages. For members of legal age, we also feature an 8-tap self-pour bar with a rotating selection of beer, wine, and cocktails.
Is there a shower?
We have spacious, clean restrooms and changing areas available for your convenience, though we do not currently have on-site showers.
Can I extend my time?
If the court is not booked immediately after your session, you are welcome to extend your time. Please check with the front desk or the booking app to reserve the extra time.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. You can cancel your court reservation directly through our booking system. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your court time or event will receive a full club credit, no questions asked.
What happens if I run over my allotted time?
To respect the schedule of all our members, please clear the court promptly when your session ends. Keep an eye on the clock and wrap up a few minutes early so the next group can start on time.
There's an open court next to us — can we use it?
Please stick to the court you were assigned. If you notice an empty court and would like to move or expand your game, check with the front desk first to book it officially and keep our system accurate.
Can I take a lesson with an outside coach?
No. To ensure safety, quality, and liability coverage, outside coaching is not permitted. All paid lessons must be conducted by certified professionals from The Pickle Club's official coaching roster.
Can an outside coach book a court for paid lessons?
No. Booking a court for the purpose of conducting third-party business or paid instruction is contrary to our membership agreement. If you are a certified pro interested in joining our team, please reach out to management!
Is smoking, vaping, or outside alcohol allowed?
No smoking or vaping is allowed anywhere within our facility. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. Members of legal age are welcome to enjoy beverages from our self-pour bar.
What are the penalties for breaking the rules?
We strive to keep our club safe and enjoyable for everyone. Violations of club policies will result in a full review of playing privileges, which may result in suspension or termination.
What are your peak hours?
Currently, The Pickle Club has no hours designated as "peak" or "off-peak." You can enjoy the same simple court pricing regardless of the time of day you choose to play.
Can I host my own event at The Pickle Club?
Absolutely! We'd love to help bring your event to life. Corporate team-builders, birthday parties, charitable gatherings — we handle it all. Contact us at 516-824-4660 or info@the-pickle-club.com to discuss availability and options.
